Breadcrumb Trail

This simple feature, on the "Other" tab, in the XSitePro interface, gives your visitors more
control when navigating your new website, with the added bonus of increasing your websites overall on page SEO.
The breadcrumb trail explained.
Way back in the early days of web design, the pioneers of the industry were faced with the process of helping
surfers to find where they were, and, how to navigate back to where they came from.
Back buttons on browsers now take care of that need, but the breadcrumb trail can still be seen on many
websites, here is a typical example:
Home > design > store > profile > accounts
As you start at the home page, you navigate through several new directories, the last one visited, shows in
blue.
Each directory in the trail is a clickable link, so you can easily find your way back to a previous page without
using your browsers navigation.
Of course, this has been superseded by fancy navigation systems using javascript and other advanced coding, but
the basic breadcrumb system carries wonderful SEO advantages.
The SEO comes from having several links, on all your pages, that link deeply into your website, the search
engines like this, because it helps the user, and you benefit by increased search engine positioning.
